This is basically the same trusty
sweet-sandwich bread recipe which have served me well over the past year!
I used this reliable recipe to try out the fresh yeast that I have bought. Also I am trying to make it eggless. Finally I add a little more wholemeal flour to make it look better on the nutritional chart.
As for the filling, I drained the tuna, then add some chopped onions. Simple does it!
My husband love to eat tuna bun so..a couple of mins ago, I asked him to take a look at your post. You know what? He asked me: Am I having tuna bun this morning?...haha...
ReplyDeleteI definitely shld give bread & bun making more tries from now on as your look very encouraging. So, have you used yr KW already? My decision keeps changing (again!) but won't be for long though :D
ReplyDeleteHi Anncoo,
ReplyDeleteHope you will try out soon; your hubby will be delighted!
Hi npm,
I am dubbed the lo-ti-auntie (bread auntie)in office... hahah.
I used my KW to make royal icing and sponge cake for my mum's birthday. For bread - I enjoyed hand kneading too much to use KW!
I was indecisive too... It is a hefty purchase that will last use years or even decades, we want to take our time to think carefully!
