What happens when you can't make up your mind whether to use the black charcol powder?
I stared at the powder, and remembered seeing my neighbour drinking the ashes of a talisman. :-)
Anyway, by the time I decided to try it out, the bread is almost done with 1st proof. So I just try to knead in the as much charcoal powder as I could.
Luckily it turned out to be quite ok. More importantly, Sheen loves it!

i wished he would but...
YY,
My colleague gave me the bottle of charcoal powder she bought from Japan.
cookie, my customer showed me the charcoal bread she baked. I don't really fancy anything black. :( You can get the bamboo charcoal powder from my store now. Incidentally, I also don't like black sesame paste or even black fondant. Because its black.
Looks good!
hello, noticed there was no new post for the past 10 days. Hope you are not too overwhelmed by work.
Take care!
That looks really interesting! I've never had anything made with charcoal. How does it taste?
Gina,
I suppose you do not drink black coffee or stout as well. Haha. =p
Blessed Homemaker,

The charcoal is actually tasteless. It is grinded so finely that you do not even get that gritty feeling in the bite.
It is more of the psychologocial barrier of eating the black bread.
I get curious ppl staring at Sheen when he munch the bread at the pool side.
cookie, yah, I don't drink black coffee. Only when there is cream. :( Its in my head thingy. Nothing to do with Bamboo charcoal. Its just that I find black as not something interesting. But the only black you will see on me is wearing it. Coz it make me look less 'pui' :)
